Kia ora koutou, my name is Joanna Dawson and I am super excited to have been appointed as a Foundation teacher at Te Ao Mārama.
I have lived in Hamilton for the last 3.5 years, previously living in Auckland for 10 years and growing up in Matamata.
I have 14 years teaching experience within Hamilton (currently at Frankton) and in Auckland. I am delighted to be joining the team and can’t wait to create an innovative, inspiring and encouraging space for students to learn.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, baking (especially cakes) and travelling the world to experience culture and new adventures.
I am so thrilled to start this journey and I look forward to meeting each student and their whanau.
