I’m excited to be part of the foundation team at Te Ao Mārama School. I look forward to working alongside our new team members, whānau and the wider community. I am originally from the mighty Manawatū, however I have been living in the Waikato since 1993 - still an avid Hurricanes supporter!! I have three tamariki, 2 sons and a daughter - 22, 10 & 19 in ages respectively.

I have been working in a Māori medium kura (both bi-lingual and english medium) for the past 5 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with the students, whānau and community.

One of my major passions is sports and I have been heavily involved at school, local and provincial levels. In my most recent teaching role I developed systems and pathways that encouraged growth and development which as a result turned into amazing opportunities and outcomes. I look forward to working with and developing a new group of athletes to create experiences and memories.
