Educator - Ngākau Visits

Our culture sits right at the heart/ngākau of everything we do.
Please click here for more detail.

We love to meet and connect with other schools and educators to discuss why we do what we do, and also to hear your own thoughts and ideas.

We have different options available for you to join us - a standard Ngākau visit, and a Co-designed Ngākau visit (see further below).

Ngākau Visit (standard)

Our standard Ngākau visits are free of charge.  We have a limited number of these each term.

These visits start at 8.30am and finish by 11am.

The Ngākau visit will include:

  1. An overview of our school.
  2. Schoolwide vision, values and key beliefs around teaching and learning, and how this underpins our approach.
  3. Tour of our school and learning communities in action.
  4. Opportunity for Q & A.
  5. Morning tea

We know that visiting a school can be powerful professional learning.  You are more than welcome to provide a koha for staff/students,  but this is in no way expected.

Please click on this form to indicate your interest in joining a Ngākau visit.

Wanting something specific, in more depth, or dates don't suit?

Please use this separate form to develop a Co-designed Ngākau visit.

There is also a lot of information about our approach under the "Our Place" and "Our Way" tabs, and you may wish to explore these further.
