We warmly welcome international students from all around the world.
Te Ao Mārama is a superb school to experience New Zealand education and Kiwi culture at its finest. We are a new state of the art New Zealand primary school that was purpose built in 2019. Our facilities are second to none.
We are very proud of our school, our culture and enjoy sharing this with students from around the world.
We have over 45 different countries represented amongst our students and we embrace the diversity that this offers our school.
Our school is on the northeast edge of Hamilton city in the developing suburb of Rototuna. We are located in a beautiful area that offers an exceptionally sought after lifestyle.
The area is growing fast with many new residential options, interesting shops and cafés and a huge range of recreational choices for the whole family. There is a close knit community with a strong sense of belonging and safety.
We are just 200 metres from farmland, green fields and the Waikato River. Our central location means we are also just 5 minutes from The Base (huge shopping centre), 25 minutes from Hamilton Airport by car, 40 minutes from Raglan beach, 2.5 hours from the ski field and are only 90 minutes from Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua.
Getting around by bus, car, bike or walking is very easy. Next to school is a shopping city with a café, supermarket, early childhood centre and a range of other food stores.
