Stationery
Our stationery requirement lists are loaded on to OfficeMax at myschool.co.nz. We’ve found this is the easiest way for you to purchase your child’s stationery. All you will need to do is simply search for our school, select your child's class lists and follow the instructions on the website. Buying through OfficeMax MySchool also earns Rewards for our school which we can redeem for much needed educational supplies, equipment for our classrooms or for students in need.
Uniform
We have an optional school uniform at Te Ao Mārama. You can place orders for these at the office.

Sporting Activities/Uniform
Students representing our school at various sporting or cultural activities are encouraged to wear a Te Ao Mārama sport top. These can be hired from the office. You are required to pay a small bond at the time of hiring, which is fully refunded when the sport top is returned to school in clean and working order.

School Activity Fee
From time to time there will be a number of ‘extra’ activities not covered in the standard curriculum such as the cost of performances and camps. As part of enrolling your child at Te Ao Mārama School you will be asked to pay these charges.
School Donation
The school donations are set by the Board each year, and are very important for the successful funding of a large number of activities at school. The school donation makes activities possible that government funding is not able to address. Currently the fee is set at $140.00 for the first child in a family, $120 for the second, and capped at $330 for larger families. The donation can be paid in full at the beginning of the year or on a term-by-term basis and is tax deductible.
Found Property
All unnamed, unclaimed clothing is kept in the learning areas it is found. Should your child have missing clothing please check there first. We highly encourage parents to name their children’s clothing clearly as we are happy to return any found clothing which can be identified. Unclaimed and unnamed clothing is donated to charity at the end of each term.
Policies and Procedures
All Te Ao Mārama School Policies and Procedures can be accessed through our online provider School Docs. Each term various policies will be reviewed and you will be asked to provide feedback on these. Notifications and instruction reminders will be published in the school newsletter.
