Stationery

Our stationery requirement lists are loaded on to the OfficeMax website: www.myschool.co.nz/teaomarama.  We’ve found this is the easiest way for you to purchase your child’s stationery.  All you will need to do is simply search for our school, select your child's class lists and follow the instructions on the website.  Buying through OfficeMax MySchool also earns Rewards for our school which we can redeem for much needed educational supplies, equipment for our classrooms or for students in need.

Uniform

We have a limited range of optional school uniform at Te Ao Mārama.

You can place orders for these via our online Kindo shop (myKindo.co.nz) & sample sizes are available for trying on in the office.

School Day

Our school day starts at 8:40am and concludes at 2:30pm. Students can be on site from 8am, although classes only open at 8.20am (which is the ideal time to arrive and to prepare for the day).

School Activity Fee

From time to time there will be a number of ‘extra’ activities not covered in the standard curriculum such as the cost of equipment & experiences (shows, concerts etc) . As part of enrolling your child at Te Ao Mārama School you will be asked to pay these charges.

School Donation

The school donations are set by the Board each year, and are very important for the successful funding of a large number of activities at school.  The school donation makes activities possible that government funding is not able to address.  Currently the fee is set at $140.00 for the first child in a family, $120 for the second, and capped at $330 for larger families.  The donation can be paid in full at the beginning of the year or on a term-by-term basis and is tax deductible.

Found Property

All unclaimed clothing is kept in the learning areas it is found or in the gym hallway.

Should your child have missing clothing, please check those places first.  We highly encourage parents to name their children’s clothing clearly as we are happy to return any found clothing which can be identified. Unclaimed and unnamed clothing is donated to charity at the end of each term.
